Scrap - Ferrous
HMS1
It consists of ISRI No. 200, 201 & 202. The thickness of wrought iron and/or steel scrap should be ¼ inch or more. The sizes of individual pieces can be upto 5 feet in length and upto 24 inches in width.
HMS 1&2
Ferrous Scrap consists of 80% of HMS 1 and maximum 20% of HMS 2. The details of HMS 1 are given above. For HMS 2, the thickness of wrought iron and steel scrap, both black and galvanized should be 1/8 inch or more. The sizes of individual pieces can be upto 5 feet in length and upto 18 inches in width.
Used Rail Steel R50, R65
Used long rail steel scrap in compliance with ISRI standard classification R50 (51.67 kg/m), R65 (64.72 kg/m). Suitable for re-rolling into bars and shapes. Free from bent and twisted rails, frog, switches, and guard rails, or rails with split rail.
